Timelines vary by tier, but most projects are completed within a few weeks once all materials are submitted. I’ll confirm timing before we begin.
You'll provide me with a large set of images, we'll talk about your goals and your voice, and I'll take it from there. Photos can simply be sent through galleries like you send to your clients — super easy! I promise that this won't be intimidating or complex in any way. I've coached dozens and dozens of photographers through this process before, and I know how tricky it can be to curate your own portfolio without objective eyes. This is your chance to offload all of the confusion and decision making, and come away with your best work selected for you!
Q: What's the portfolio curation process like?
Q: Will your copy writing sound like me?
Yes — within reason! I write clean, confident, human copy that reflects your work and values. This isn’t gimmicky marketing copy or trend-driven language. You'll provide me with the content you know your copy needs to cover (for example, info you'd like to include in your About section), and I'll do the writing and strategizing for you.
Q: Are you just going to use ChatGPT to write for me?
That is a resounding NO!! :)
ChatGPT and other AI writing services have some benefits, of course. They can help us proof read, beat writer's block, and brainstorm. They can provide a helpful first draft of certain types of content, and organize our scattered thoughts.
But they're not human, and they can't replace us. People have started to recognize AI writing all over the internet — it's too impersonal, too perfect, and feels a little 'uncanny valley.' We humans crave real humanity, and using AI for your copy won't truly serve you in the end.
I have actually invested time into training AI to write like me, and trying to understand what its role should (and should not) be in my work. In 100% honesty: I still hate it! It serves a purpose, but it does not succeed at good, human writing. Just like we feel grounded when we see unfiltered faces on the internet, we know deep down when a real human is talking to us, and it's right.
