Note: my process is built on The Archetype Process (TAP) profiles, and they are a must-buy if you want to get the most out of this course! These color profiles emulate film scans, and are absolutely essential to my work. I personally use several profiles, but as long as you have one pack, you're good to go! You can apply my methods with any of the profiles, and I highly encourage you to choose your personal favorites.
If you're new to TAP profiles, I recommend starting with Green Pack I (Fuji 400h), Yellow Pack I (Portra 400), or Yellow Pack II (Portra 800). All are fantastic options, and you can't go wrong! My top two faves are Green Pack I and Yellow Pack II. You can browse the examples on TAP's website, and go with your gut when it comes to making your choices. If you purchase 2+ packs together, you'll get a sweet discount!
And either way, these profiles have been worth every penny and more. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Whew, so much! This course contains over 20 videos of me editing. I'll walk you through the profiles themselves, plus my approach to editing with both the green and yellow packs, how I decide on a profile, and the differences (and similarities) between them.
I'll walk you through my edits step-by-step and explain why I do what I do. You'll also find videos of me editing more quickly, still explaining my adjustments but covering it more quickly as you gain confidence.
I've included over 140 before-and-after images, with every adjustment I've made listed alongside them - and the camera body, lens, and settings I used to take the photo.
And we're not done yet - I've also included examples submitted by my students to showcase images taken on Canon and Nikon cameras, not just my Sony! Your camera really doesn't matter with these profiles, but they're included to build your confidence even further.

The lessons are a mix of video and written/visual content. I have tons of editing videos, but you'll also get to see the adjustments I made in Lightroom laid out next to the edited images. No need to try to figure out my final edits from the video - it's all displayed clear as day, promise!
Of course not, but this course is best for those who are aiming to achieve a similar style. You can edit a million different ways using the TAP profiles, and I'll teach you how to create the style you see in my work. I'll also teach you why I edit like I do, so that you can take that knowledge and adapt it to your own preferences. It doesn't matter if you prefer warmer or cooler, darker or brighter, etc. As long as you generally vibe with my style, this will work great for you.
My course is suitable for anyone who wants to edit similarly to my style (and to run with it and make their style their own!). Beginning or advanced, all are welcome here.
