New!

community submissions

Untethered Community features include your work, but they are based around articles, not sessions. The purpose of community features is to enrich, encourage, and connect - and if you want to share, I'd love to feature you!

Featured articles can be a tutorial, a list of tips or tricks on a topic you love, words of encouragement, or something else similar. The article does not need to be written before you submit; instead, a submission simply requires a description of the topic that you'd like to write about. You can submit your idea below!

If you are chosen for a feature, you'll receive a detailed submission form. Your feature will include your favorite images you've taken, info about your business and links to your site, and a secondary (super easy!) Q&A feature.

Want to be featured? here's how!

Want to be share, but struggle to write content?

No big deal, really! Lots of people struggle to write, but have wonderful thoughts to share. If this is you, I highly recommend putting ChatGPT to work for you - it's free, easy, and a huge time saver!

If you can put together your thoughts, you can ask ChatGPT to turn them into an article for you, and you can even refine the style in which the content is written. My biggest tip is to personalize the content that ChatGPT creates so that it reflects you, not a computer. To do this, just read the content out loud and swap out any words you wouldn't use, or adjust the phrasing to make it more authentic.

It's easier than you think, I promise!

Worried you're not enough of an expert yet?

This community is a space for all: experts and beginners and everyone in between. Your perspective, the way you've struggled and overcome challenges, and the way you can empower others in the industry is valid whether you've been in business for a decade-plus or you're just beginning.

What submissions are accepted?

Please understand that not all submissions can be accepted. A very limited number of articles are featured each month, and potential features must be aligned with the heart of this community: uplifting, encouraging, empowering, enriching. If your submission is not approved, you are more than welcome to submit again in the future. If a submission is not accepted, my goal is to find a way to help you adapt it so that it's a great fit!

And while faith, politics, personal values, etc. are an important part of each person's life, please keep in mind that this community is not built on shared belief systems, but our shared profession. In a world that feels perpetually divisive, we are here to connect over our wonderful creative commonalities.
